Microsoft Access Database template needed!
Ok guys,
Perhaps I'm going about this wrong, but I desperatly need to organize and document my cards. As of now I have boxes of toploader, binders, and monster boxes with multiple sports. It's getting out of hand and theres no signs of it stopping. Not to mention, I'm moving soon and will need to clear out alot of my inventory, but as it stands now I can't even begin to post a tradelist.
So, I am wondering if anyone here has ever created a database using microsoft access as a way to track what cards you have and need? (Or any database for that matter) The current text and word doc files I have aren't cutting it, as theres no way good to cross search for years, players, sets, etc..
If not, please chime in with what methods you all use to arrange and track what cards you have. I need some fresh ideas!!!

For now I am using microsoft excel. Have it sorted in these columns: first name, last name, year, set, card #, team. Forget what they are called, but used this one tool that added a drop down list for each column. Can select by any of those columns or multiple ones and have the according results show up. It's not the most efficient way but works well enough for me. If that didn't make sense lmk and I can take a screen shot. Also have rookies/fys in blue text, gu/auto in red text, and inserts in green text. Can't sort by that though.
For my personal collection stuff I use beckett's my collection.
