Picked up 2 Prime and 3 Lux suite BF prices. Not bad.

Question. I saw all the stuff on shipping. So for me to send to Canada should I go with UPS or USPS and when I do customs declaration should I mark it as a gift and mark it lower than what I sell it for? I did not realize you guys get taxed.

Mark it lower and as a gift, and USPS is better.

Depends on how picky they are. Generally not.

Yeah I made sure that prices were at least comparable with what I wanted. On average I spent less than $10 per card with the only one topping $20 being a Brett Lawrie auto relic. I looked at every single Lawrie auto they had available and picked the one with the nicest signature. It's on a sticker but it's a perfect auto. He gets very sloppy at times, which is why I passed on the nicer and hard-signed Bowman Chrome.

I also contributed to Kaepernicksanity.

I caved an bought 4 cards on COMC. I couldn't find enough to make buying 10 cards worth the free shipping. None of the ones I got were big discounts, but hopefully I made a couple of investment purchases.

Like you, I went a bit non-hockey and bought a couple of Bowman Chrome Refractor autos of the (now) Lansing Two: Noah Sydergaard and Aaron Sanchez. If they pan out, it could end up being a decent investment at $30 for the pair, and I'm probably going to pick up multiple copies down the road. The other 2 cards I got was the normal hockey stuff.

So was my Black Friday a success? Up for debate, I guess.

EDIT: Question-how do I know if I ended up getting my store credit for my purchase? Was there a special way to checkout?

Not buying anything today but I do like the Prime sales or Dominion or whatever it was because I want more base cards from those sets so hopefully someone puts a bunch up at cheap auction on eBay.

Canadians are only allowed about $20.00 Duty Free on merchandise coming into Canada. If you are shipping single cards to Canada, hide them with bums cards around them.

Mark as a Gift and place a $2.00 Value on it. If shipping to Quebec, add 2 Chara common cards to hide the good card, they'd never steal it.

It is more than $20. More like $100.

I really like that D&A lowered their free shipping threshold to $99 and that generated enough good will with me to make me stay with them for all the ordering. There were a few killer deals on other sites, but not as many and not paired with good enough pricing on other items to make it worth while.
