God how I want this card!!!!!!
Me being a history major, this card would not only make my day, but would be the showpiece in my collection of historically significant items...

Thats a really cool card. thanks for pointing it out. Im watching it now. It still does sound weird how they get there sigs though.

did they really cut a copy of THE declaration of independence!?!?!?! thats crazy....but makes for a nice card.

Yea i dont understand why they would Cut american history and put it on a peice of cardboard even though it does make for a nice peice in the collection

There's no way they cut up THE Declaration of Independance. It's just a cut signature from something else, but they're just saying he was one of the signers of the DoI.

It's actually easier to acquire the signatures of people from the 1700's that are legit than some current players...lol
In my school's history department, one of our professors has the signatures of every major military and political figure during the Civil War, including Abe Lincoln... He also has the signatures from every president from Lincoln to GW...
I myself am working on collecting the major players of World War 2... So far, I a few tough ones, Churchill, Tadashi Kusumi (The pilot credited with the death blow to the Arizona), Dorie Miller (Cuba Gooding played him in Pearl Harbor)[although I have doubts about it's authenticity], Admiral Nimitz, and General/Prime Minister Hideki "The Razor" Tojo.
No one realizes how hard it is to find quality items from WW2, especially signatures. The Japanese are especially hard, although not always pricey... The US and European forces are very difficult to come by, the Churchill and Nimitz together cost just over $1900.

If you think they cut up the declaration of independence for a card to go into a topps product, then you are a moron plain and simple. lol that made me laugh pretty hard

Also, it says something about there being 39 revisions of the DOI. Maybe all 39 were signed and only one is the actual "Declaration Of Independence".
