Toys R Us BOGO Sale Until December 6th
Heads up to collectors that Toys R Us (possibly Canada only?) has a Buy One, Get One 50% Off sale running this week.
They just got their stock of 12-13 UD1 tins and blasters, and if you're lucky you may also have some $3 blister packs of 07-08 Black Diamond, 07-08 Ice, and 08-09 Ice.
I grabbed 3 each of 07-08 BD and Ice yesterday. Didn't come away with much but it basically works out to a buck a pack with the offer. My best hit was a Dubinsky BD RC. Ice had nothing but base. So if you're in Kelowna at least you have possibly better chances of getting something worthwhile. Hahaha

What are the prices on the tins of S1? I remember they had a 40% off sale earlier this year and I picked up a bunch of Certified blasters. It was awesome.

Do Toys R Us sell retail packs or something or clearance packs or something? I haven't opened multiple packs of hockey cards for a while. Don't want any hits, just some cheap stuff is fine.
Also apparently Target in the US does sell retail packs and they're coming over here which is nice.

They do indeed sell retail stuff. The BD packs all have that marked on the front of the packs. I just got another 18 packs and came away with some good mid-level hits. No quads but three triple diamond RC's.

The sales must either be regional or by store. Our local ToysRUs has a blaster sale going on with 10/11 Dornuss Blasters for $7.98, 10/11 Pinnacle Blasters for $12.49 and 09/10 Ultra Blasters for $6.98

Ok I looked at the actual flyer and it says B1G1 half off all REGULAR PRICED trading cards. UD S1 is $25 regular priced for 2012. Meh I'll just stick to getting the base set once S2 comes out.

I bought 8 of the 07-08 Black Diamond 3-pack blisters yesterday for $20.34 (includes tax) and never would have imagined I could get BD for under $1 a piece. After a fund break last night, I went and cleared out the rest this morning (only 3 were remaining) and grabbed an Ice. Will post once I open the packs from today. Thanks for the heads up!

I grabbed some of all 3 on the weekend. Didn't get anything worthwhile but still a fun a cheap break.
