Where to find singles?

Where do you all go to find large lot's of singles for your player collection?

COMC, Sportlots (cheapest assuming you do shipping properly within a few sellers), CanadianHockeyCards.com. Sportsbuy has them too but the site doesn't work properly.

Or you could post on here making a new thread saying looking for cheap common cards for X players in the buying hockey section.

I do have lots of base/insert of certain high profile player from 90/early 2000, post name that could help you to find some. I have ton of base cards.

have you ever dealt with canadianhockeycards.com? I just checked out what they had for fleury & their prices seem pretty out there at a glance. Also this makes my forehead wrinkle up

^ I have in fact made purchases from there. The prices aren't that great now that I look around but they have a good variety of cheap singles and the shipping is quick and free (or $1 I think if it's a purchae under $10). I've ordered 100+ commons from there at a time and had no problem before. I do prefer to use sportlots now because it's cheaper and easier to search and add stuff but there were a few cards of retired players I occassionally can't find from one of the Sportlot sellers I use. The rookie cards and inserts etc might be a bit overpriced there but for commons it's not bad assuming you can't find it for cheaper on sportlots and don't wanna deal with eBay.

Btw OP I'd also check your local flee market if there is one or scour local memorabilia/card stores and kijiji or yard sales for cheap commons if you're looking to buy them in bulk.

Just a heads up about canadianhockeycards.com, about a year ago I purchased a $20 card from them. When it arrived there was very significant damage to the card and despite many attempts to contact them I never got a response.
