    You tell me

Just curious besides making some incredible runs what has he done. They give him all the credit for beating Green Bay in the playoffs last year, but without that defense they had last year he wouldn't have even been there. You kidding yourself if you honestly believe he's one of the best qb's in football. Give me farve, mcnabb, culpepper, mcnair, manning, bledsoe, hell even gannon at least he's done something.

    Re: Vick

McNair is a good QB, but not a better runner than Vick is.

    err... yes actually, it does.

So because Vick got injured, it automatically makes McNair the better runner? I suppose you're right, it's awful hard for Vick to run with a broken leg.

And McNair's also a lot older.

Hold on, I thought you were arguing about his speed? Vick would make a decent back up if he only depended on his arm. But guess what... HE DOESN'T. He has decent throwing ability, and he can also take off an run for 30 yards on any given play.

Dunno, I guess he only led his team to the playoffs and beat Green Bay AT Lambeu Field.

So now you're saying Vick is bad because the falcons have a great Defense? I still think it's safe to say that Vick led his team to the playoffs.

Yea, I mean gannon was only the MVP last season.

Again, McNair is a good QB, I would just personally choose Vick over him. And making the argument that McNair is a better runner than Vick is... well... *rolls eyes*

NO agility doesn't make a great runner. Im sure Vick had that same agility yesterday it didn't make him a great runner. He doesn't pick his spots he think he can run everytime he has the ball, he wouldn't have even got hurt if he was a smart runner because he would have throw the ball away. Not to mention that it was a preseason game that didn't even matter. As far as him being a better runner than McNair just check the numbers because when McNair's career is over he'll hold most qb rushing records they are. His team's been in the playoff's almost every year. super bowl, afc championship game. Im not saying i don't like to watch vick but as far as him being better then McNair when he plays a whole season with no o-line what so ever and injured all year long and still takes a pathetic team to the afc championship game then ill give him his credit until then any idiot can tell McNair is better. Last time i checked running people over counted as being a good runner too not just dodging them.

    Just wondering

Give me some reasoning why Vick is better not that he can run the ball because like i said McNair will own all them records. But i want some real reason's There's not any. If Vick had such a great arm then why doesn't he ever use it. And i would really like to know why people don't give McNair any credit what so ever is it because he plays for TENNESSEE.

He got tackled yesterday, and happened to get hurt. That automatically makes him a bad runner? I'm sure McNair's been tackled before, I'm pretty sure he's been hurt before. Does that automatically make him a bad runner too?

And guess what, he's 23 years old. I'd bet Steve McNair made his share of mistakes when he was 23 years old too.

Okay, but then to be fair, you'd also have to wait until Vick's carrer is over.

And wasn't last year Vick's first full season? Technically you could make the same argument for Vick.

So now you have to be a big guy to be a good runner too? I'd say dodging them only makes you a BETTER runner.

Your arguments aren't worth the time to reply, because you never give a staight answer of why Vick is better. For one simple reason there are none.

Plus i hate to tell you but McNair's career is not over if anything he's better now then ever. If they would just get a reliable running back and more then one decent reciever maybe tennessee would have a chance.

Vick has more speed, and more agility. Just because he got injured yesterday does not make him a bad runner. McNair may have been doing it for years, as you say, but Vick has only been around for one full season. What I think makes him great is that he has a decent throwing arm, but he can also tear a defense apart by running it. Best of all he's only 23 years old, and will only get better in time.

McNair is a good QB, and his carrer may be far from over, but Michael Vick has a lot more time to grow and improve.

There is my straight answer as to why I think Vick is the better rushing quarterback.

I mean he was a superstar first play sacked, second play interception, then carted off the field. He's so great i wish i could be him
