first of all, i think both parties are guilty of class warfare using the common definition of the term. The difference in the "whiny group that wants stuff" is that the whiny rich want to keep their own stuff, not someone else's stuff

Fair point. However, as far as the class warfare goes, vilifying everyone receiving entitlements, not just those abusing the system, as being leeches and moochers goes against reality. Vilifying everyone who voted for Obama as being selfish and ignorant and "wanting" things goes against reality. Telling people who've just been laid off that making sure the wealthy have more money now will (somehow?) ensure that there will be jobs in the future doesn't help. Those people need money to go to those owners stores and buy their food so they can live. Saying everyone who voted for Obama wants a cell phone is downright idiocy.
Yet, the Republicans said all of that. The business owners lay off and send jobs to China and now want tax breaks to bring them back. Meanwhile, they're whining about the people they've laid off and whose jobs they ripped out of the country taking entitlements to live. It's always prefaced with "I'm not talking about those who need it" and then go on about how able bodied people should not be taking entitlements (never with any exception mentioned). They think these programs should be cut cut cut.
Basically what they've done is give out jobs and then take them away and hold them hostage. Kind of like a drug dealer. First one's free!
