The Post-Newtown Witch Hunt
In the aftermath of the horrific Newtown, Conn., school massacre, Americans from all parts of the political spectrum agree that we need to pay more attention to mental health issues. Public death threats and incitements...

I don't know how many times I have to facepalm every time I read anything that Malkin has written.
"But tens of millions of law-abiding men and women own and use guns responsibly in this country. The cynical campaign to demonize all armed men and women as monsters must not go unanswered. What's most disturbing is that the incitements are coming from purportedly respectable, prominent and influential public figures."
^WHAT NONSENSE!
There is no "campaign to demonize" anyone in particular.
What we (Gun control advocates) want is to control guns and bring down the enormous amount of weapons that are in this country.
- We want to ban assault weapons which should NOT be allowed in any civilian's hands.....What do you need a MILITARY weapon for???
- We want to reduce the number of bullets a magazine can hold.
- We want to reduce the number of overall guns you should be able to buy.......REALLY, you need 47 guns?!?!?

These propositions are NOT demonizing anyone, and the fact that the FAR RIGHT doesn't even want a discussion is very telling.
Malkin is a disgusting individual.....I have ZERO respect for her.Last edited by JustAlex; 12-19-2012 at 07:52 PM.

guns do not kill
you could have 10,000 guns in a room and they will hurt no one

Hence "machine" Jay.
You see a broom won't sweep without someone to work it. That makes it a machine.
You need to pay better attention.
And it still makes no sense that a weapon meant to kill people is perfectly fine, but a small amount of drugs for personal use is the end of the world.

Parts of the US Constitution have their feet mobile for the future, but their brains firmly cemented in the late 1700's. The 2nd Amendment is exactly of this nature.
The USA is the only country in the World that has a Firearm as part of it's constitution, and that makes you Great?
Nein Danke.

Last time I checked if someone gets ahold of my baseball cards they aren't going to use them to kill a bunch of children in a elementary school. Its been mentioned over and over again. Guns main purpose and function is to kill. Baseball cards aren't, motor vehicles aren't, bottles of mustard aren't, and whatever ever else stupid you might try to compare them to that makes absolutely no sense what so ever. And you wonder why people look at Americans as a big joke now. Because we are. We're so thick headed and blind to even trying to fixing certain issues its pathetic.
