eBay just removed my 2005-06 Parkhurst facsimile auto #/100 listings. They are basically saying i cannot sell reproduction autos, they call it "Counterfeit" in the email. What??? are they kidding. Please correct me if i am wrong, but these are authorized reproductions. I assume the player has to approve this, if not the NHLPA or the NHL does. Upper Deck is a licenced card manufacturer.
Beckett has them listed as "Facsimile Auto" so that is what i put in the title: 2005-06 PARKHURST FACSIMILE AUTO PARALLEL
Note: I always make it very clear in my listing that they are NOT REAL AUTOGRAPHS & THAT THEY ARE REPRODUCTIONS FROM THE CARD MANUFACTURER, because i do not want someone to buy it, receive it and then come back and say they thought they were getting a real auto.
I have no idea what to do. It appears you cannot email them which really sucks I would like to email them with an explanation to clear it up. I am not going to wait on hold for 30 minutes to tell them they made a mistake. Any ideas?

Someone must have complained. Ebay don't go looking for items like this.
Not much you can do. There are tons of cards like this on ebay. Not sure what to tell you.

eBay.ca Selling Feature not working?
Is it just me, or has the eBay.ca Selling feature not been working for a few months?

Don't use the word facsimile.
Use the words Machine Copied Autograph and you should be fine. eBay does not like the words artificial, fake, re-production, etc.

okay, thanks, i will try relisting with that wording. Machine Copied Autograph
I did actually call them, waited about 12 minutes and i got through. I explained it to them, but they are standing by their rule that anything that is a "Replica" cannot be sold on eBay, and therefore i cannot sell my item. So i used the example of a sports poster that has a player on it with an autograph printed on it (obviously not a real signature), they said this would not be acceptable to sell. I asked to talk to a policy expert as i was not happy with that decision, she just put me on hold for about 5 minutes and came back with the same response. Just a joke really.

Then they need to take down the 100,000 rookie reprints that are listed in the 4 major sports, which they are not about to do.

So why is there an entire category for Autograph Reprints?

You're right. i have listed hundreds of cards before and never noticed that. i always just use the Sports Cards category, then "Cards" but now i see right above that one is "Autographs-Reprints". Why wouldn't they tell me that? Anyway, it is worth a try whenever i get around to relisting it.
Is there any risk to keep listing something and then they keep removing it? even if they are wrong but they tell me i am in violation, can they suspend me or ban me completely?

I would be using "cards" too, just not marking them as autographed or anything. But if they're so against reprints, they probably shouldn't have an entire section dedicated to them (mostly 8x10s and promo stuff).
