They can hit you with a negative anytime they want and there is nothing you can do (unless they contravened eBay guidelines). If the buyer paid in a prompt manner why not leave feedback? They fulfilled their end of the transaction. If you don't they might decide to hit you with a negative feedback anyways. Look at the buyer's feedback. Do they have a history of leaving negatives? Do they have lots of positive feedback? Maybe they need a couple of more feedback to reach a new level?

When I sell on eBay I always leave feedback first. If the buyer reciprocates great, if not I don't lose sleep over it. Over 1100 feedback on eBay, my seller account, and I've never received a negative or a neutral. As buyer I never leave feedback for buyers who do not leave it for me. Once I've paid I've covered my end of the transaction. Sellers who claim to withhold feedback to "make sure that the buyer is satisfied" never fool anyone with that statement. On the flip side, I will never contact a buyer and ask for feedback either.

Just my thoughts. Good luck in your situation.

Yeah they have a 99.2 rating on the feedback on the acct . Couple negatives left for them recently.

The negative feedback they have left recently for others includes:

"Must be a wimp chicago blackhawk fan....Don't come to the Lou!!!!"

    "Doesn't communicate. Booooooooooooooooo!" 5 times.

"You piece of scat. You ignorant liberal."

"Liar. It arrived just fine. Don't buy from me wimp."

"Really? Idiot...trying to get something for nothing. What a wimp."

    "Weirdo."

"You piece of scat wimp. You are a theif and a liar! Typical NC jerk."

    "Idiot."

"YOU never left feedback sweetheart. "

"Got a partial refund and seller listed item as sorry a$s giants it's CARDINALS!"

"Typical piece of scat from NC. Liar. You need to be smacked like a batch."

Here is a question for everyone, but first some background----
On Nov 10 ( yes November 2015) I mailed out a card to a winning ebayer using the address listed. I marked it shipped same day. Two days later, the winner contacts me and says to include an apartment # in the delivery address. I said the card is already sent to the address they put on Ebay. I looked to make sure i didn't miss it the 1st time, and there was no apt. # in the address. I advised they should correct thier address. They contacted me a few times in November and December saying they had'nt received the card. I advised since the address wasn't complete it should come back if the post office can't figure out what # to deliver it to, as i had my return address on it. I had forgotten about it as i had no more emails so figured they got it. Untill today. It showed up in my mail box as incomplete address. So it took almost 2 months to go from New Brunswick to California and back.
Now the question....When i let them know it has been returned, if they still want the card after all this time, would i be right in charging a shipping fee again if the post office won't re-send it with the original stamp still on it ?
    Thanks for your thoughts.

What's the shipping cost? If it's just a stamp or two I'd let the guy know that you'll swallow the cost and help him out. Helping people out on eBay has often provided me with repeat buyers for my auctions, especially when they know I'll take care of them.

As a seller I'd swallow the cost but as a buyer I would feel bad not offering to pay for shipping again. Some people have no class.

It's been two months. Did you have to refund him?

As expected they left negative feedback....How do I go about having this reversed?

No, they never requested a refund, and no emails from them wondering where the card is. So, i figured they received it. Until it showed up in my mail box.
