Need Some Help-Old School
I decided to build an old set. It was the reason I got into cards in the fist place. I know it is not considered valueable, but I still love it. I will be building a 1989 Pro Set Football Set. I want it all though. I want all the errors, inserts, and subsets. What I am trying to find is a list of the error cards. I remember some had more than one version. Can anyone help me. I know that any 1989 Football price guide would have it. I hope to hear from someone soon. THanks and have a good one.

It`s a bit late right now, but I will give you some answers tomorrow. Funny you should speak of this set. I was just going through it tonight. I have the entire set but not sure of what error cards I may have in there. I know I have the Gizmo Williams card. Not sure if it`s error though. I`ll get back to you on this tomorrow night. I can sell/trade you the entire set I have if you`re interested. Aikman/Sanders/Sanders rc`s are in it.

I bought a four box lot of 1989 Series I Pro Set. I pulled a William Perry SP Error and a Pete Rozelle out of the same pack! I got as excited as I would have 17 years ago. I am building 2 sets. One will have all the issues in it. The other will be just the 3 series deal I think. My brother says I am 17 years late on the pack! I thought it was awesome. I also pulled 7 Elway errors. I am not sure of the other ones-I think 4 Bosworth and 4 Holmans. I can't remember them all. If anyone has a 1989 Price Guide-please let me know. A scan of the pages or something would be a great help. Thanks!

I really appreciate it. This was always my favorite set. Neat design-great photography-and a real first look at inserts before it got ridiculus. I got a few of the errors. Perry, Holman, Elway, Boz, and a few others. I get the sleep thing man-I get up at 2:30 every morning I gotta work. I hit the clock at 4! Thanks again and have a good one.
