Error Cards 2012-13
I think everybody should start a new thread for cards that have pulled that included an error. I found a few already but all of the same player and if you have anything to add please feel free to do so.
All Warren Peters RCs are error cards if they say he is currently with the Wild. This off-season he signed with the Penguins. In earlier products like Artifacts they did not switch anybody's new team but in products like Upper Deck Series 1 this has been fixed but not Warren Peter's RCs.

Warren Peters is a holdover rookie, like most of the rookie crop. Technically his first were for the Flames awhile ago. They are not error cards. Despite him signing with Penguins in the offseason, his main "rookie year" was with the Wild. It's a quirk, but it's not an error.

But he should still be apart of the Penguins on the card even if he was with the Wild for his rookie year.

It's very likely that the cards were printed before UD had a chance to update them after he signed with the Penguins.

He signed with Pittsburgh on July 1st - it is actually a quirk that he has a YG in 2012-13 Upper Deck Series 1, as he had two RC's released by Panini in 2011-12 products (Crown Royale and Pinnacle - via Rookie Anthology). It is very rare that a player has RC's spanning two seasons, but was likely done by UD so that they could have at least one card of Peters considered as a rookie card. There *should* be a "Now With Pittsburgh Penguins" or some similar notation on the card front, as obviously he hasn't yet played a game with the Penguins, but alas that is absent from the card.
Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

It's equally possible/likely that it was a simple oversight on their part. They're able to get YG's done for the year's draft class done in time when they debut on opening night, so guys who made off-season moves shouldn't be a problem. Not to be disrespectful, but Peters isn't exactly the biggest name in the rookie holdover class so they just may have not known of the move.
