Yankeesfan428's 2013 IP and TTM Success Thread

Thought I would post up all of my successes for the year on this thread, already missed a few but I will start with yesterday.

    1/13 Sharks Practice In Person

Went to the first official San Jose Sharks Training Camp practice after the lockout held yesterday. Only 28 players were invited because of the late start, but all of the big names were still there. Did pretty well considering how many people were there. Here's the haul:
Jamie Baker: 2/2, 2/2 (help) all cards
Dan Boyle: 3/3 cards, 1/1 official Sharks puck
    Justin Braun: 1/1 card
Adam Burish: 1/3 cards, 1/1 card (help)
    Brent Burns: 1/1 8x10 personalized
    Ryane Clowe: 1/1 puck
    Logan Couture: 3/4 cards
    Jason Demers: 1/1 card
    Andrew Desjardins: 1/1 puck
    Michal Handzus: 3/3 cards
Martin Havlat: 4/4 cards, 3/3 cards
    Matt Irwin: 1/1 puck
Patrick Marleau: 1/1 Team Canada Puck, 2/4 cards
Joe Pavelski: 2/2 cards, 1/2 cards
    Matt Pelech: 2/2 cards
    James Sheppard: 4/4 cards
    Brad Stuart: 1/1 8x10
    Marc-Edouard Vlasic: 1/1 Team Magazine
    Tommy Wingels: 2/2 cards

Didn't see Thornton, he snuck out a side exit because of the crowd. Also never saw Antti Niemi, but I have gotten him plenty of times. Didn't see coach Larry Robinson come out either.
If you are interested in anything, please ask, much will be up FT.

I finished most of the stuff I had leftover from last season and I am in need of some new stuff to get signed. Will take 50/50s or consignments on some of these guys, I'll have a thread up soon.

Here's to a great year of graphing!

    2/4 Sharks Practice In Person
Thought I would swing over to Sharks practice in the morning before the Super Bowl and get some autos of the Sharks. They ended up not skating today but were still there before a flight and I did very well. Here's the results:
    Dan Boyle: 2 cards
    Adam Burish: 1 card
    Brent Burns: 1 card
    Logan Couture: 1 card
    Ryane Clowe: 1 card
    TJ Galiardi: 4 cards, 1 8x10, 1 5x7 (DNJcards)
    Scott Gomez: 2 cards
    Michal Handzus: 4 cards
    Martin Havlat: 3 cards
    Patrick Marleau: 4 cards
    Douglas Murray: 1 card
    Antti Niemi: 2 cards
    Joe Pavelski: 1 card
    Mike Ricci: 3 cards
    Larry Robinson: 3 cards
James Sheppard: 1 8x10 inscribed "1st round pick"
    Brad Stuart: 2 cards
Joe Thornton: 2 cards (really happy with these)
    Tommy Wingels: 1 card

Got everyone I needed except Vlasic, who walked out while I was getting Gomez. Almost all out of cards for guys besides Marleau and Thornton, but I will be going back soon once all of the 50/50 stuff from here arrives.

    2/17 Sharks Practice IP

Went out to Sharks practice early this morning to finish off what I had left and get 50/50s done for members on here, had some great success. Only two other graphers out in the morning for arrival, both very cool guys and good friends. Here's the results:
    Dan Boyle: 2/2 8x10s (1 patsfan1212), 1/2 cards
    Adam Burish: 1/1 card
Brent Burns: 1/1 8x10 personalized, 1/1 8x10 signed in blue in the darkest area of the photo :(
    Ryane Clowe: 1/1 card
    Logan Couture: 2/2 8x10 (1 markymark), 1/2 cards
    Jason Demers: 1/1 8x10
    Andrew Desjardins: 1/1 8x10
    TJ Galiardi: 2/2 5x7s (1 DnJcards), 2/2 8x10s (1 DnJcards)
    Scott Gomez: 2/2 cards
    Thomas Greiss: 1/1 8x10
    Michal Handzus: 1/1 puck (Philly4for4fan), 2/2 4x6 (CarlosBeltran3), 1/1 card
    Martin Havlat: 2/2 cards
Tim Kennedy: 1/1 team logo card
Patrick Marleau: 1/1 11x14 with Joe Thornton, 1/1 8x10 (markymark)
Todd McClellan: 1/1 team logo card
    Douglas Murray: 2/2 4x6 (1 CarlosBeltran3), 1/1 card
    Antti Niemi: 2/2 8x10 (1 slitz)
    Joe Pavelski: 2/2 8x10 (1 markymark)
    Larry Robinson: 2/2 8x10 (1 slitz)
    James Sheppard: 1/1 8x10, 2/2 cards
Brad Stuart: 2/2 cards, 1/2 cards
Joe Thornton: 1/1 11x14 with Patrick Marleau (personalized) and 1/1 team Canada puck
    Marc Edouard Vlasic: 1/1 4x6 (CarlosBeltran3)
    Tommy Wingels: 1/2 4x6 (CarlosBeltran3), 1/2 cards

Must have been one of those days Mike Ricci wasn't at practice, so I was unable to get him on the puck Philly4for4fan or the 8x10 slitz. Other than that had a long but successful day, many of what I got will be up for trade.

    2/22 Warriors vs. Spurs IP

Went to my first Warriors game in years last night and wow, what an amazing game. Over time thriller that went down to the wire and included many clutch shots and David Lee putting up 20 and 20. Unreal performance by the Warriors and a well deserved win. Last night was also the first time I had ever graphed at the Oracle, and it was quite a pain. Lots of strict rules inside. I had my cards in a small book with photo corners and I was told I either had to take the cards out or rip page by page because I couldn't hand them the entire book. Besides the strict security I was able to do pretty well:

Got all the Warriors who participated in shoot around:

    Klay Thompson:

2/2 cards, 1 Prizm and 1 SP Authentic which smeared

    Carl Landry: 3/3 cards
ran with a black sharpie, got a 10-11 Playoff contenders, 2009-10 Topps, 2010-11 Rookies and Stars

    Jarrett Jack
: Star of the night, hit some clutch shots and need up with 30 points, signed 3/3 cards: 06-07 Topps Chrome,12-13 Prestige, 11-12 Hoops

Went over to the Spurs side after, missed a few guys from getting the Warriors, but did get this:

Manu Ginobli: 1/1 card 12-13 Prestige

All in all a great night

3/3 Earthquakes vs. Real Salt Lake (MLS)

Went to the San Jose Earthquakes first regular season home game today, did pretty well. They changed access to the away team pre and post game which makes it difficult, but still got a few I needed from Real Salt Lake. Also didn't help that some of the guys I needed from both teams were either injured or didn't travel. Here's the results:

    Earthquakes:
    Rafael Baca: 1/1 8x10
    Mehdi Ballouchy: 4/4 cards
    Victor Bernardez: 1/1 8x10
    David Bingham: 1/1 8x10
    Jon Busch: 3/3 cards
    Ramiro Corrales: 4/4 cards
    Mike Fucito: 1/1 card
    Jason Hernandez: 4/4 cards
    Justin Morrow: 1/1 8x10
    Chris Wondolowski: 1/1 8x10

    Real Salt Lake:
    Kyle Beckerman: 8/8 cards
    Robbie Findley: 7/7 cards
    Nick Rimando: 3/6 cards

Many of the cards are up for trade. Also looking to take some 50/50s on the Earthquakes as they are extremely easy. Will be seeing the Red Bulls next Sunday

3/8 San Jose Sharks and St. Louis Blues Practice

Finished class and headed straight over to Sharks practice hoping to catch a few players before they left, and then planned to wait for the St. Louis Blues to come and skate. Did pretty well, here's the results:

    San Jose Sharks:
    Dan Boyle: 1/1 card
Logan Couture: 1/1 card, 1/1 puck
    TJ Galiardi: 4/4 cards
    Scott Gomez: 1/4 card
Matt Irwin: 1/1 team logo card
    Patrick Marleau: 2/4 cards
Douglas Murray: 2/2 cards (first time he has ever done more than one card at a time for me)
    Joe Pavelski: 1/2 cards
    Mike Ricci: 1/1 puck (Philly4for4fan) 1/1 8x10 (slitz)
    Larry Robinson: 3/3 cards
    Brad Stuart: 2/2 cards
    Marc-Edouard Vlasic: 2/2 cards

The Blues ended up having an optional skate, so only about half the team showed up. Still did reasonably well:
Ian Cole: 1/1 team logo card
Brian Elliot: 1/1 card, 1/1 puck
    Jaroslav Halak: 2/4 cards
    Ken Hitchcock: 1/1 puck
    Andy McDonald: 1/1 puck
    Alex Pietrangelo: 1/1 pucks
    Chris Porter: 1/1 puck
    Wade Redden: 2/2 cards
