Thumbs up Two Things to say!!

A few takes on two Real Suprises

Man is it a real bummer about vick, I really feel the Falcons were going to jump out to an early lead this year. If all goes well and he is back and ready in about 7 weeks I feel the Falcons will still make the Playoffs.

As a male with the last name BROWN I am Dissapointed to see the Clevlend Browns starting Holcomb over Couch!!! Now I know Holcomb had a great few games last year and one hell of a Playoff game vs. the Steelers, best QB this year is Tim Couch and if they dont the chances seeing them in the postseason will be very slim.

Yep, I know what you mean about Vick, I miss him already (Being a major Falcons fan). I hope Sling Johnson can make something happen, if you think about it though, Vick might not be missing too much time, since there is 2 weeks of pre season left. So let's hope for the best and that Vick comes back to terrorizing defenses very soon!

I was looking forward to watching the Vick-Price combo, looks like we will have to wait. Hopefully the magic will be there.

correction - Holcomb had 2 good games last year. Not to mention that he has been running with this offensive system his entire football career!!! I find it disgusting that now they have have all (or nearly) pieces in place on the offensive line that they give up on Tim Couch.I will still root for the Browns, but Tim Couch is defenitely going to come back to bite them.

In my opinion, they are not giving up on Couch, Holcombe just took the job away from him. Look at what Bulger did against everyone else when Warner got hurt, and when he was healthy, they took Bulger out, when he was doing all of the right things.

If you are a true Browns fan as long as they are winning, who cares who is QB? I would love to see the Vikings back in the playoffs again, but this is going to be a very dismal season for them. They just can't get the defense right at all.

As a browns fan, im really dissapointed that couch wont be starting the season, but what it comes down to, is the browns wanna see if holcomb can really play as good as he did in those few games he did play, during the whole season. If he can then butch made the right decesion this year, but personally i dont see kelly doing great the whole season. Only time will tell, either way you gotta root for the browns, you cant let feelings of your fav. players get in the way for your feelings on ur team.

Why can't people just stick with their starter. It's becoming a bad trend (even though as a Steeler fan I'm glad it worked getting rid of Kordell!) that if the starter has a few bad games he gets jerked out. Look at Spurrier in Washington last year. We all saw how that turned out!! There's a saying here in Steeler country that has rung true since Bradshaw played a little past his prime,"the backup qb is always the most popular guy on the team" It would be nice if Butch Davis would get some guts and stop letting the fans and his team pick the starter.

well, the good thing about sports is:

if you don't perform, you sit.

Had Couch performed well...there would not be a controversy at QB
