Anyone interested in trading for customs?

I do custom hockey card designs. Am new to it but have built up some decent templates. I can design a card for player X and e-mail you a high res image of it to print (there's a nice tutorial on this site on how to print/cut them). And I do both the front/back of the card.

Would anyone on here be interested in my designing two custom cards for a player (assuming I can find a good high res shot of the player) in exchange for a lot of cheap or unwanted BASE cards of any notable current or past player? I don't have HOF standards, by notable I mean around 400+ players to retire before 2000, 300+ players to retire or leave for Europe since than, and any player considered a regular in today's NHL. Maybe a good way for someone to get rid of their unwanted cards? I'd pay the shipping if it's more than $5 so it should cost someone almost nothing to do assuming they don't need those cards. I have a set going for cards of good retired players so it'd help me build that up. If people are interested then I'll post my customs up (the ones I have a template for). The one in my avatar is one, it's modeled almost exactly off of 94 Leaf Limited though I change the colours around, that one was always silver at the front.

This is my favourite one, I like doing customs based on retro cards. This is based on the 71 OPC though the back is completely different but I don't have an img of that one.

    Hello sir!

I think at one point I told you I'd buy your creations but you weren't into actually printing and cutting them yourself, was that you?

In any case, yes please, I have a 5000-count box full of crap, I mean treasure to raid , and I have postage as well, so I can cover that and I'm still coming out ahead............

Thanks for the reply, for now I was just seeing if anyone was interested...would be a good way to get cards for players which they might not have been made for the way you liked. That's the whole reason I started doing it, printing cards with full career stats of good retired players who never got a card like that, usually from the pre-50s. I'm not printing the card as I said earlier however I am doing the design for both front and back for 2 cards of any player that I can find a large enough image for. This lets you print it in any way that you want and probably with a better printer than my regular inkjet. The one thing you have to do is get the cut straight but if you go and print on some nice card stock or photo paper from staples, they have a straight edge cutter that does this quite easily or it can be bought from Walmart for like $20 (Fisskars trimmer). You also don't have to wait around for me to properly print and ship the cards that way.

I haven't begun now, for now I'm just gonna work on making a few templates and then I'll post them up and people can pick. 5000 cards...that's way more than what I'm asking for and I'd feel bad accepting that much, wouldn't even fit in my mailbox lol. I'm looking for quantity instead of quality but I'd be happy with even less than 5% of that amount. I'll post the details later on along with the templates once I get this going within a week or so.
