Southern fried diet may increase stroke risk
Not a political topic per se but I did get this from everyone's favorite political website fox news. Even though their political commentary is pure garbage I actually enjoy reading some of their other stories.

Also its ironic that most faux news readers and listeners are conservative christians and the bible speaks of healthy foods that its readers should eat and unhealthy and unclean foods that you should avoid but that part of the bible seems to fall on deaf ears.Last edited by mrveggieman; 02-08-2013 at 02:13 PM. seems to me Jesus doesn't say what you should or should not eat, so how this is Biblical is beyond me.

They are in the bible. That brings up another question. Why do christians even still refer to the OT? They are quick to dismiss the parts of the OT that they do not like. Why not just dismiss the entire OT?

He was referring to your spirit. If christanity is supposed to make you a better person as a whole why does most christian teachings ignore talking about good health? Isn't that part of having a prosperous and success life on earth which should transition to eternal life in heaven?

They dismiss the parts that already happened in the OT bible's history, simply because they predict many of the same things that they want to happen in the future to seem NEW. They don't want anyone like myself to say to them..."Well that already happened, try again!"
The NT quickly runs out of new ideas, and repeats itself especially regarding real historical events that transpired in Palestine in OT history.
