    1/1 Mail day!!

Sooooo... I got a few packages in the mail from Panini this week....

First up is a Titanium Home Sweaters Auto Brad Marchand /100

    [/IMG]

    Next is a 10-11 Contenders RC/Auto Magnus Paajarvi /99

    [/IMG]

And here is the 11-12 Contenders Patch/Auto Gold Devante Smith-Pelly 1/1

    (Hopefully it's not stamped)

    [/IMG]

And last but not least, a PC card I got from a trade with my friend Leafsman: 02-03 SPx Rookie Stars Zetty

    [/IMG]

Thanks for looking!! I will probably post the DSP and Paajarvi on the Bay (unless of course I get a good trade offer for them), but the Marchand is availible FT

Grerat stuff Yzerfan, I always loved the look of the contenders patch auto. I also sent you a PM in regards to your Zetterberg PC to help you out.

Great cards! Love the big, contrasting autos of the SPx Rookie Stars cards from that year.

The 11-12 Contenders Patch/Auto Gold 1/1 cards are not stamped Convention Cards, if that's what you were asking. They are stamped 1/1 at the Panini America Printing facility, i.e. it's genuinely exclusive.

I beleive he referred to the autopen Smith-P was using on some of his cards/stickers. The answer is no. His autopenned signature looks different.

You're good to go on that one...his stamp is only for blue autos I believe.

Okay, awesome!! I was furious when I heard he had stamped some of these cards so I am relieved to know that it's not a fake.

Thanks Svetlov. I just read the article about this in this month's Beckett Hockey. Glad your 1/1 card has the real thing, Yzerfan. What was Devante thinking when he decided to stamp his auto on 5 different high-end products? Perhaps he was not thinking, or his hand was tired?

Sounds like Panini caught on early and only a very small number of bad cards slipped out. UD didn't catch on until the customer complaints rolled in, so they reprinted the cards that were stamped and got Smith-Pelly to resign them "the old fashioned way". Anyone who has a stamped auto card of his can get it replaced by a card with his authentic auto.
