same thing happened with greinke and me in philly.
He's a strange, strange dude. But with all the history of anxiety and head case problems, I'm not surprised. He's definitely medicated.
He's also a star player and tough to get- so good job, to us both!

Grienke is actually an awsome guy if you get to know him just very quite. He played a full season here in Wichita were i live back in 2007 and I helped him build his baseball card collection. He just doesnt like crowds but wants to sign for people. He collects his own cards so he gave me a list of what he needed so in return he would sign everything i needed through out the season and always had his gf sit in the spare Season ticket seat i had every game she came to.

Yeah with Greinke I'm not looking for interaction as I understand what he's gone through. As with any ballplayer he doesn't have to stop and sign anything so when he does I'm grateful. Unfortunately with many graphers the sense of entitlement is so strong that when a guy like Greinke with his issues doesn't give them what they want they attack his anxiety issues. Just disgusts me.

Sorry to disgust you. I will say I didn't attack his anxiety issue, though. Just pointed out that's why you and I both had a strange experience with him.
I am fairly entitled with graphing, though. I expect guys to sign, and if they don't treat their fans well, I think it says a lot about them.
I don't know too many "good guys" who don't sign, nor do I know too many "bad guys" who sign a lot, so to me it seems like the person's attitude and personality are pretty well correlated with how they deal with their fans. So I make such judgments. Feel free to disagree.

Great job with the dodgers this past week jaydub, as for my one and only experience with greinke, this yr he seemed more than accomadating, he is just a quiet keep to himself type of guy who wants to please his fans with a few strokes of a pen, you basically have to be there at the right time and luckily I was this yr which I am most greatful for! Keep up the great graphing jaydub

Hey jaydub, congrats on getting uribe, even though being a dodger fan I still am not a big fan of him and have yet to obtain his auto since he's been a dodger, any secrets???

Yeah I hated Uribe and that contract given the level of the play the first two years but he's been more than alright this year and all reports say he's been great in the clubhouse so I'll take it.
I got Uribe inside the stadium (Coors Field) where he came to sign around 10 minutes before the game started. Attempts to get him outside the stadium (hotel, stadium entrance) he didn't stop to sign at all. I spent some time at spring training this year and he's just not a guy that typically signs.
