    The Big Con

Please listen up. We are all being conned by the Obama administration. This year, the American taxpayer will fork over about $571 billion to pay for educating children in the nation's public schools. All told, the...

In this episode of Billo "We'll do it live" O'Reilly's blog....he discusses how Obama is conning the nation by wanting to give more money on education!

The nerve of this socialist-communist-nazi-African-Muslim-Maoist-Marxist-black guy to actually want education reform in a country that has so much and yet still lacks in basic education.

Where does Obama get the right to even propose such stupid ideas?

The funny thing is our Governor Kasich has done the same in Ohio by devoting more money to education, and he is a white conservative. My only issue with Kasich is taxing school sporting events.

For years I have watch the right wing just not get it on education. All studies have shown the earlier education starts for students the more knowledgeable they will become. As well as becoming more productive citizens in Society. Bill's argument is one and should be pointed out, I have no kids who need this so I dont want to pay for it! That is his real point. There is no con, unless you read all his crap and see he is the real con.

Jay, good to see the someone at a state level address this. Thumbs up to Ohio. How was that received and how did they pay for it?

Kasich basically rewrote how much each school district will receive funds, and has given poor districts more than rich ones. The idea is poor district students will receive more money per pupil than rich ones. no school district will receive less than it did last year, but many poorer schools will receive way more. basically schools that have high property tax wealth and resident incomes will receive less than schools with low property tax wealth and resident income. help from the state for school districts goes up or down based on financial need. also a $300 million fund has been set up to help improve effecencies that any school can apply for. it seems the rich schools won't keep getting richer and the poor schools won't be getting poorer, which is a great idea when you see the stats on graduation and crime, the poorer the area the less graduate and the more commit crimes.

it has been received with mixed reviews, remember Kasich went after unions and was successful the first time, but it ended up getting reversed. the funny thing is Ohio schools started to lay off teachers everywhere, but Ohio being a well mixed state, means about 1/2 or more don't like anything he does because he is a republican.

all the details have not been released, but besides the taxing of school sporting events, I like it.
