Greetings:
Well day 2 of the trip is done picked up some 1975 minis for my set. Currently hanging back at hotel room w/loqtus & yazfan71 watching TV looking forward to Wrigley Field tomorrow with them. I wondered how many of our readers saw any of us during the show. Well catch ya all later I am off to check other postings."Any ballplayer that doesn't sign Autographs for little kids Ain't an American. He is a Communist"-Rogers Hornsby on Signing an Autograph as a Manager in 1942 with the St. Louis Browns.

I was going to say Commish must have had an overload from all the stuff he's probably finding on his wantlist......LOL

Well, my wife & I left Friday night after the Cubs game, so we don't need bailed out. The 2 days we were in Chicago, I was getting the impression that the Commish was perhaps going to need some bail money though!
Let's just say "What happens at the National, stays at the National!" but, there was a little incident that those of us that were there like to refer to as "The Great Popeye's Chicken Fiasco"! It was kinda touch & go there for a bit!
Here are some pics of what I was able to pick up during my one day at the show!
Here are some shots of us at the show!
Still have to get photos from Wrigley onto my computer from the camera. Will post those later on.

Thank you, it most definitely was a success for me! I'm coming ever so close to having the right percentage of Yastrzemski cards to be able to submit my application for SuperCollector status. I'm hoping that Commish & LoQtus came up with a few more for me on their last day at the show yesterday. If I'd had just one more day there, I'm certain that I'd have reached the requirements.
Here are some photos from Wrigley!
We had a great time at the game, but it definitely took it's toll on my wife as her back & leg were hurting her something awful by the end of the game. It's only too bad that the Cubs lost!

The surprising moment for me didn't come until the drive home on Friday night when my wife had asked me about going next year to Cleveland! Who am I to argue when my wife brings up about going to a ballgame & the National?
