    Angry Truly PATHETIC.....

I am watching the show "Rome is Burning" right now, and they are talking about Ted Williams and how he has been decapitated and his head is in some jar, and his body in "deep freeze"

OK...for one......I do NOT believe in this cryogenics crap. I am a firm believer once you die your spirit leaves your body and goes elsewhere ie: heaven, hell or who knows. How in the world can you bring a person back to life in 100 years when their spirit is wherever? Sorry...that is just stupid IMO.....

What a pathetic end for such a legend...I am sure wherever he is he is wondering WHAT he was thinking for even wanting this (if in fact it was his decision) and how truly sad this whole escapade is.

Sorry...everyone here is sleeping and I HAD to rant somewhere :D

    Peace,
    Rima

I am too, he made a comment about Vick/Falcons I won't even say again... That made me pretty mad, although the show is pretty funny at some points/times

I know, people are crazy when $$$ plays into it. Technology too!! Also I'm wondering what IMO means. I've been here for 3 months and though I knew but was told "no". I see it in so many posts and can't figure it out. It's probably something that I should've known!!LOL

Ted Williams was a great man and baseball player. Too bad his legacy is remembered in this form. It's pretty sad.

    Don't worry about it.

We all go through that. I remember when I first got on the Internet and didn't know what LOL or PM meant.

And it is VERY SAD to hear this about Ted. He was SO GREAT and didn't deserve this.

Ted Williams was definitely a great ball player but from what i hear about history he was not a very liked person back in his playing days. you are right, pretty sad that he will mentioned with this kind of stuff.

Unfortunately, he was not liked a lot (I've heard the same thing). However, my uncle was an old sports report back in Boston and met him a few times for interviews and Ted was very nice to him. Just one man's encounter, though!
