In Three Days The Pens Became The Strongest NHL Team
Brendan Morrow that brings blood, guts, a heart bigger than Secretariat and his lunch pail. This is an outstanding pick-up, as Morrow has languished in Dallas.
Douglas Murray is a BEAST and will giver Orpik time and space, even if they aren't paired together.
Both Morrow and Murray are uber tough. With the exception of Kennedy and Dupuis, the Pens are a very large team. I don't see anything in their path now, not even the Hawks on their best day.
Sharks are a stupid organization, never move a stud like Murray, as your team will now be ran through the boards with no consequence. San Jose fans also complaining about Marleau ....... for the umpteenth time? They know NOTHING.Last edited by centrehice; 03-27-2013 at 06:24 PM.

Murray is a UFA after this season. Per Capgeek SJ has 13 players signed for just under $54 mil for next season. There is no way they could afford him next year. Better to get a couple of pick then letting him walk.
Pitt does look really good right now but I would take the Hawks D-men over Pitts (even with a healthy Letang) any day.

San Jose DID make that move that landed Jumbo Joe a few years back, but I do have to agree with you, the Pens look unstoppable.

If the Bruins get Iginla and play like they have in the second tonight, watch out NHL. If they play with fire, they will be nearly unstoppable. Especially if they get some defensive depth more.
Lucic Krejci Iginla
Seguin Bergeron Marchand
Peverly Kelly Horton
and the best 4th line in the NHL, that is some absolute firepower right there.
Edit: besides the second line, the Bruins SUCK!Last edited by JoexBondo; 03-27-2013 at 10:39 PM.

Add Iginla to that list while you are at it!
