Depends on how you store your cards as well. You can put up shelves, display cases or bookshelves.

There are special cases you can buy- cheap ones can be had at craft stores (that have a framing section). Also you can quickly search the bay for some cases that are relatively cheap.

Personally- I like SGC graded cards (hope you don't mind the baseball images) and they fit nicely into frames that are designed to hold multiple pictures- use the poster putty to adhere them to the frames - got these at target for $15 each:

Also if you do a search I remember seeing a similar thread on the topic that might give you some better ideas .

do you know if target still has the wood looking ones? i saw a post about them awhile back, but haven't been able to locate them in my local target.

I have not seen the ones pictured for some time (that is why I only have 18 cards out at a time). I have seen similar ones in white at target and the same type at Walmart, Ragshop and Michaels (local craft chains).

I have a room that is totaly full where I put all my sports cards and other stuff. No place left for a desk. Not many cards on display since I have many image auto framed and many other stuff but I have two display for cards, one I made from scratch that I have used in show when I was selling cards in the 90's and the other was made from a gun display case I found in a garage sale that I them made the interiror so I can use it to dsplay cards. The gun case cost me 15 and add 15 of wood to make the middle frame to hold the cards, so it cost me 30$. The rest I bought shelves with whole on the tablet. Mainly they are garage shelves made from plastic sold on Canadian tire and prevent moisture to build on the bottom of the boxes and all my cards (90,000) are in the boxes in these shelves so all box are easy to access and all sorted by year - brand - card number, so easy to find.

Mein Gott Luc, it's Habs Heaven in there.......totally crammed is the perfect way to have a collection!! Looooooooooove them Beehives. I have one of those Carey Price McFarlanes and I can't stand it, it looks like he's cowering in fear as someone is closing in on him on a breakaway or something. But the collector in me won't take it outta the packaging hahahahaaa!!!

Is that a Gordie Howe at the top of the horizontal card display case???

The McFarlane you talk about is a signed one and got it whithout the box, the other are all in their boxes. And yes this is a howe from when I was a kid. Just a nice souvenir from when I started to collect cards.
