I was not condoning it at all, and if that's how I came across, it certainly was not my intent.
My point was that I'm not sure he'd have gotten fired if he was winning. It would have been more likely to have been forgiven.

Either way, if would've kept going if the media hadn't caught on. That's the sad part about the whole deal.

He should have been fired back in December when they saw the video the first time. You can invest in his rehabilitation if you want, but he needed to be replaced and kept away from those players. If I was a parent, I will rpess charges. Also, why the other coaches did nothing and if I am a player and I have a coach or anybody pushing me around, I am pushing back.

Well, at least one other coach did report it. Eric Murdock (former NBA player) was an assistant - I believe his exact title was something to the effect of Director of Player Development - did indeed report it and his contract "wasn't renewed."
Basically, he got fired for it.
