I'd say their deals paid immediate dividends for the Rangers - they looked rejuvenated last night in a thumping of Pittsburgh.

lol at the topic. As a trade deadline watching "vet", I've learned that you can usually start following at around 2pm EST and not miss much, but even I was still furiously reloading some forums and the trade tracker at work.
But with the Bishop/Conacher trade, the Gaborik trade, the Pominville trade (big return for a UFA), and the Erat/Forsberg trade it sure ended with a lot of surprises/unexpected trades.
