Rare 1955 Topps Doubleheader question. HELP?!
I am new to this forum, so forgive me if i do something wrong here, but it looks like a nice little community that's popped up here.
I recently stumbled across what i believe to be one heck of a find.
I purchased a 1955 topps doubleheader card of ted williams (and hal smith). it was in beautiful condition, and would likely get a psa 7, which books around $700. It is the first doubleheader i'd seen, so when i saw some more today, i was surprised to find they all had perforations where the card gets folded over. Mine does not. I did some research and apparently this is very rare. Rare to find one w/o perforation, rare that it's ted williams, and rare that it's in nm condition. i checked w/psa, and they've only ever had one graded before, so i guess it's pretty rare. So i'm wondering about how much value i may be sitting on here. If the psa 7 is worth $700, then what would one w/o the perforations fetch in the proper auction? any ideas? any help would be much appreciated. anyone know, or ever seen one before? thanks
