i tried graphing the celeb game since its right after the futures game. a few people got andre dawson when he got out of a taxi at the ballpark in KC but i only saw one actor signing before the game but i have no idea who he was. jennie finch told me and my buddy she would be right back to sign for us but never came back = /. the celebs and legends have a ton of security so its tough.

i'd like as much info as possible also. I have tix to the Futures/Legends games but am beginning to think the fanfest is where its at. is there enough time to put in a few hours in the morning of fanfest then head over to the futures game? or do I need a full-day at fanfest to get a few autos worth my $35 admission? I've never been to Citi Field yet, does anyone know if you can move around the lower sections freely to get near players on the base lines for auto opportunities or is security strict w/checking tix locations? I have tix in the OF, but would like to get down the 3rd base line before the games for autos.

fan fest is best to go on the last two days IMO. I had the opportunity to volunteer at fan fest in 2012, a wonderful experience, however I wish I did not work at it on Monday to get the current all stars. I also missed a couple of HOF signings like Ripken Jr but I will never have an opportunity like that again to volunteer. I am hoping to attend fan fest at target field in 2014. I did not go to the futures game but I wish I did but I could not get tickets to that. I think fan fest is worth it to stay all day. I was there for 4 days and there is so much I didn't get to do so I would spend as long as possible there. If you put in say 4 hours, maybe you will get about 2-3 autos as lines are long. On the first day, it's mostly local guys like for KC it was John Mayberry, Jeff Montgomery, Willie Wilson, John Wathan, etc.

I went to Atlanta Fan Fest in 2000 when I was 15. Got autographs of former players Lou Brock, Steve Carlton, Tony Perez, Jim Rice all for free. Missed out on Hank Aaron who signed only for about 30 minutes.

Does anyone know what hotel the players stayed at in 2008 when the All-Star game was a Yankees Stadium?

I went in 2010 when the Angels were hosting, they posted schedules of who would be signing and where, got rollie, gary carter, luis aparicio, gaylord perry, juan marichal and bud selig... all those were from the posted auto signings except selig. ripken did a clinic but did not sign, and rod carew was there but he didnt want to sign either, all that was at fanfest, had not luck at futures/celeb games

I have an extra ticket for the homerun derby and ASG, selling below face value, lmk if interested. I'm planning on going saturday thru tuesday

they just posted the player apperance list , link below, keep in mind they will likely update and add more names
