I sent during Instructional league while he was rehabbing. Signed in black and was a quick return. I always pay close attention to instructional rosters for guys rehabbing because that is a great time to try them as the mail is usually light.

How long does the instructional league go? And do you just send to the spring facilities?

They start around late September for 3-4 weeks, then some guys go to the Arizona Fall League to play. This year Bundy and Guerrieri were rehabbing in Instructs and signing. They announce rosters but they can be pretty tough to find and take a lot of google searching. Most of the current drafted HS players go and a few former HS draftees go. I do send to ST addy's when I mail out requests. I get a lot of last year's Bowman Draft signed at these as well.
