LeBron James wins 4th MVP award (1 vote shy of unanimous)
http://espn.go.com/nba/playoffs/2013...mous-mvp-honor
LeBron James is the overwhelming choice as the NBA's Most Valuable Player.
The Miami Heat star took 120 of 121 first-place votes in this year's balloting, giving him the award for the fourth time. Oklahoma City's Kevin Durant finished second and the New York Knicks' Carmelo Anthony was third.
James' selection was not unanimous, despite plenty of suggestions from people around the league in recent weeks that he was worthy of that honor. Anthony received the only other first-place vote from a panel of broadcasters and sports writers who cover the league.
The NBA released the results Sunday, when James was presented with the award.

Haters will hate but the man played exceptionally and deserves it

I think we can drop the too-loosely-used hate term when it comes to Lebron. No one hates him. Seems like people love to use it to drive a unnecessary wedge in an sensible debate. If he was hated, he would have no lucrative endorsements. He wouldn't garner the votes for MVP, DPOY, All-NBA or the All-Star game (still voted by fans right??). So please find some other way to describe fans who may just like another player or team

He desrved it since he had another monster season. Durant was good but LBJ was just unstoippbale. And I don;t like the guy but he earned it. He is going to finish his career with at least 6-7 MVPs easy.

I would love to hear the argument for any player over Lebron. I'm a celtics fan and by no means a Lebron fan. Whoever voted for Carmelo is a complete joke.
