    Monte Irvin no longer signing TTM

    I received my item and donation back from Monte Irvin today with a typed note saying that his eyesight has deteriorated to the point where he can no longer sign.

    Keep him in your prayers and thoughts.

    Wow, very sad to hear both for Monte and for the hobby. One of the greatest and most important baseball players ever was always a bargain at $10 ttm.
