The Rangers for the first time in 53 games look to finally have some REAL confidence. That does not bode well if they can continue to use that confidence and play fundamental hockey on top of it.
For the first time in a long time, they look to have completely frustrated the Caps.

Bruins in 7. Tonight's comeback is what galvanizes Cup winners. Unless Seidenberg is a no go. Dougie and Bartkowski will have a tough road as rookies for a full series.

The Rangers came back when they shut down One player, Ovie, after that it as all over, with the B's, way too many experienced threats to shut down, plus home ice adv, mojo and edge to the Bruin's.

This series can go one of two ways:
Rangers in 6:
If:
-Nash and Richards play like the stars they are
-Lundqvist's shutdown goaltending continues
-Players like Brassard, Hagelin, and Zuccarello continue contributing
-The Rangers D stops Patrice Bergeron and others like they did to Ovechkin
Bruins in 7 if:
-Nash and Richards remain cold
-Rangers PP continues to fail
-The Bruins big Game 7 gives them enough momentum to edge the Rags
-Lundqvist falters as a goaltender
-Role players stop scoring

If Nash and Richards show-up for 2 or more games the Rags will win this. Chara is dead tired and it was evident the last 2 games against the Leafs.
Chara has no answer for blinding speed. Callahan alone will drive Chara over the edge.

I feel Nash will contribute more in this series as he's finally on a line with Zuccarello and Brassard, he had a lot more chances in the last two games when he was with them. As for Richie, I don't see him turning anything around. He may get a goal or assist here and there, but he's been cold for all but the last 5 games of the season....I don't see that changing, especially since Torts finally buried him to the 4th line. I hope Torts will let Kreider play more but I doubt that will happen.
If Brassard keeps it up and our checking line continues to control zone time, B's will have a tough time. I see this series going to 6, and I'll go with the Rangers but I'm obviously biased lol. Not saying Reimer is a bad goalie, but Lundqvist has been a brick wall lately

I am guessing the status of Seidenberg, Ference and Redden is highly classified?
anyone have any info? As far as I know I have never seen anyone drive Chara over the edge, LMAOF...the opposite actually, if anyone had the speed to do it it would have been Kessel, which is why the Leaf's tried to avoid that match-up like the plague?! anyhoo having to play 35 minutes did slow even big Z down a little bit.

Callahan will drive Chara crazy with his relentlessness.
