dumb ebay question
ok when i searchfor anything lets say "baseball cards" and i put the ending soonest option it shows completed auctions........why???
how do i find things that are ending soon?
im not new to ebay, been on ebay off and on since 2006 .....and this is frustrating.

I think I have two answers for you.
#1 is that you checked the completed listed as pictured below

#2 is that it shows that it's completed/ended is mostly due the the 2,872,262 or so active listings for "baseball cards" Meaning that there is lot of auctions ending for it..

Those auctions that ended most likely had a few seconds left to bid on it. I don't know how to put it simpler for you. There's over 2.8+ million auctions under "baseball cards" there and you sorted them by ending soonest. The auctions on the first few pages are going to end within seconds.
For example...

These were on the first page when you search "baseball cards" and sort them ending soonest.
I see that you collect St. Louis Cardinals cards and I narrowed it down and did a search on it with ended soonest and found...

I usually go to page 2 or 3 to look. That way I have enough time to bid if I want something. Then just refresh the page to get more.
