WITH THE UPDATE FROM UPPER DECK, THIS IS THE "FALSE LIST" WHICH THEY POSTED. I AM LEAVING IT HERE FOR COMPARISON PURPOSES WHEN THEY RELEASE THE "FINAL LIST" ON JULY 1.
As the cards cannot be TRUE rookie cards, I assume they are renumbered to be XRC Rookie Cards. Here is my estimate of the numbering change:

If they make them XRCs they are going to have some very angry Collectors. As I have said before some guys have spent a lot of money and are expecting real RCs for their investment.

considering how low the old xRCs from BAP (numbered to 99) sell for now (cheap), an xRC without an auto or GU numbered to 599 would be a disaster.

They don't have a choice to release them as XRC's, as they cannot make true Rookie cards of these players in a 2012-13 product. And imagine 2013-14 Artifacts, which rookies will they put if these are the true rookies?

Information is everything and the information about the rookie card status of the guys that debuted in 2012-13 has been widely disseminated.

Schultz is listed as one of the Wildcard rookies (RR-32) as for the actual Oilers player, who knows what they're doing. I just hope this means they'll be live and I can finally redeem my full set.

Wow I'm really surprised some of these guys aren't the autogrpahed rookies. I truly thought Gallagher, Hubredeau, Schultz, and Brodin would be autos at the very least.

They could possibly be in the list of Autographed ones which were not announced yet. I'm shocked that Anders Lee got picked for his 2 game appearance over Thomas Hickey who's been with the team since the start of the season.

Ah, I didn't realize these rookies and the auto rookies would overlap. That would make sense then.
