    Custom Booklet Hockey style

I was asked by graphic designer DnJcards here on the boards to create a dual hockey patch booklet. The design was his own and the card is of a PC player he collects. The design file was forwarded to me along with patches he wanted used. This was my first real booklet and we were very happy with the finished product. The finished card fit perfectly into a One touch 360 pt holder. Thanks for the look and any comments would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks guys.

Valguerra,no tutorials bud, just a whole lot of trial and error.I started making regular custom cards which I did do a tutorial on here in the customs forum for my 1986 Mets cut set.I took alot of that as well taking apart a few low end booklets.I am hoping to help out others by offering my services sometime soon.I will say they are time consuming and tedious work.

Simply stunning. The cleanliness on the edges are outstanding and the cutout for the patches are tremendous.

Not much more to say other than thanks very much for sharing that great card and it's really inspiring.

    Kudos!

I think I figured out a way to make a very simple booklet using regular card stock but it would be very thin of course and not look like that.

Basically you would have two cards printed on 3.5x2.5 for one side of the booklet and the other two cards for the other side of the booklet would need to be 3.7 or 3.8 x 2.5 so that there's an overlap. The extra area on the two second cards would be folded along the edge so that the actual card is 3.5" wide and the extra .2 or .3" would be used to glue on the other card. I don't think I explained that right but we should all be able to do it though it will not look as polished as this one.

I think I get what your saying. In fact there's a custom maker Badwax who was on here not too long ago who did awesome booklets like the kind your describing here's a link below. His booklets were actually a big influence on why I started making my own,but I did wanted them to look a little more finished as you put it.Good luck with it and please post your creations,I love seeing others as much as creating my own. -Steve
