1999-00 Paramount Silver??
Hi!
Does that parallel set exist? I cant find it in the inventory, but I can find it in Beckett. There it says that the silver set has silver highlights, but the base to have silver highlights.
Can anyone fill me in?

As far as I know, the base set was silver, and there were copper, gold, emerald, ice blue & red parallels. ALSO, there were holographic silver, gold & emerald parallels numbered to 99 and 199.
Because you can never have too many versions of an Ivan Novoseltsev RC.

ParallelDave who is an expert on Pacific parallels does not list a silver parallel version of these cards. Also, there are none for sale on Beckett, so my guess is that it is an error in the Beckett checklist.

Base was silver, as were the reds. Emerald, Gold, Copper, Ice Blue, Premiere Date, Holo-Silver, Holo-Gold, and Holo-Emerald were the parallels.

99-00 Paramount Reds were a parallel not a base. In know this as I opened a case of the stuff.
You perhaps are thinking of 99-00 Pacific Red Jewel. There were actually two sets that year. The Silver and the Red, but Beckett messed-up. They call the 99-00 Pacific Red Jewel set a Parallel when it's a stand alone issue. It's not a Retail issue, it's just different from the Silver Set.

Reds were a base set. They were like the Pacific jewel collection. You would get one Emerald parallel per pack.

Not in the USA. I also bought full boxes of red jewel. Pacific often sent different set to the 2 countries. For example. The Holo Emerald set was only available in 7-11's in Canada for one of the issues and not issued in the USA.
The Pacific Red Jewel was a full-box issued set. There is one of them on eBay right now.

This card came in 10 different colors: silver (base), copper, emerald, gold, ice blue, red, holographic gold, holographic silver, holographic emerald and a premier date. I'm currently searching for the holo emerald and silver versions of Derek king.
I collect Matt Dzieduszycki, Derek King, Pierre Turgeon (Isles only), Zigmund Palffy (Isles only) plus specific current Isles (mainly Wahlstrom, Dobson, Barzal, Beauvillier, Pulock)
