It was a joke, I just don't think many people are hunting for Asher Allen cards, and I'm not going to trade a chrome Kaep for it. However it doesn't mean I shouldn't be able to trade with you anymore, just because I said no to an initial trade. I didn't insult you or anything, in fact I apologized for wasting your time.

I didn't ask for a Kaepernick for the Allen. I asked for the Kaepernick or two for the lot of refractors you actually needed with a book of $34 to your $30. I thought that was fair but you didn't. No big deal but if you get what you need and I can't get anything I need or at least some decent tradebait, what is the point?

That's where I believe BV is flawed. I sell 1 Kaep and I can buy all the cards that were in our deal with some money left over. What's the point of that for me?

Exactly. We don't agree. Enough said.

Let this be known, I'm not trying to antagonize you. With that said, can you explain to me how BV is justified in a situation like that. I really would like to understand this point of view because it never made sense to me. Consider it free bumps for your thread.

The way I look at it, either you use book or use sale values, not both. I use book values because that is what I have always done. Other people use sale value and that is alright for them but not for me considering I rarely sell anything and I could care less when a couple of people have a bidding war and jack the price up, not too mention that sometimes e-bay bozos don't even pay for what they bid on especially the low end cards. Say someone bids $12.00 on a topps chrome Kaepernick rookie, wins it, then decides that they don't want it because they can get it someplace else for less. The most common excuse is my kids got online and false bid. This happens alot and that is a fact. With that said. The card still goes down on e-bay as a sale and people use that to their advantage. I call it juicing the market. I don't like it so I don't do it. If you do, fine. If you use both BV and SV, all you are doing is going back and forth arguing who has the better card. I don't like to do that either. Now you know my opinion.
