    Premium serial numbered question

I know player's numbers and the first one and the last one numbered are considered to have premiums, but is a card numbered 0100/1000 considered to have a premium or no? Also, what if I had a Barry Bonds card numbered 073/100, is that considered to have a premium? Any advice and help would be appreciated. Thanks!

in some people's minds, a 1 out of 500 or a 500 out of 500 add some value and if there were 2 exactly similar card, except for 1 is numbered 1/500 and the other is like 237/500, people will buy the 1/500 if priced the same.

Some people also exclusively buy cards numbered for the jersey number for a specific player like 84/100 or 84/1000 for Randy Moss. These kind of items usually will sell for a great premium on ebay over something not of their jersey number.

But, there is the opinion that if there is a card numbered 84/1000, there are 999 more cards exactly the same and there is no way they would add a premium based on the number. Many people feel this way, as they would rather collect the card for the card, and not worry about the serial number because a person could say something numbered to x is their birthday, or their college number, or their number of touchdowns over their career etc.

Look on ebay one time and put 1/1 in the search field and look at some of the stupid reasons why they think their cards are 1/1's. But, the only true 1/1 id a card numbered 1/1 period.

But in the end, something is only worth what they are willing to pay for it.
