Completed Customs Football style.
I was asked by JKad here on SCF to create some custom football cards in her likeness.Jen plays QB/WR for the Houston Power a Professional Women's team and provided me 2 game worn nameplates for the project,a few great pics, and all her player info.I was only able to create these with the awesome design work of Tanner (Paratan21).
The first custom created is a die-cut letterman which was my first of it's kind. Jen autographed a few letters before sending them. The letters were challenging to cut leaving enough space without sacrificing too much.6 of these were created in total.

The next custom is a personal design favorite of Jen's, 2009 SP Authentic Football..Since Jen's not a rookie,Tanner did some stellar work recreating a new card with the same look. The remainder of the nameplate was used for the 15 cards produced. These cards are in the process of being signed and enjoyed. It was a pleasure working with and for everyone.I hope to do more work for athlete collectors, and anyone intrested in having one built of their own.

Yes,I agree.I work with a couple of amazing graphic designers on here and other forums.Bringing the graphic design to life is a passion of mine.I am surprised there's not many who do the assembly (building) work so it's great to work with others on projects.

I appreciate the compliments guys! I loved doing these cards in particular because this was the first time I had truly designed a cut card and Steve did an absolutely amazing job with the cuts.

The cards are really well put together, nice thick even edges. The closest I can get to that on a custom is when I glue two pieces of card stock onto a thick white decoy card and the edges never match up exact like that one.

Those look great! What is your process for assembly? Tanner has made some cards for me that I am doing cut autos on but I am not doing the best job at putting them together. Yours look factory!
Thanks!
