The Panini America Quality Control Gallery: 2012-13 Crusade Basketball (66 Images)

You’ve seen the QC preview. You’ve seen almost every version of the Crusade insert. Today, though, we’re here to prove that there’s more to 2012-13 Crusade Basketball than you might think. A lot more. Sure, the Prizm-infused Crusade inserts have commanded most of this product’s attention so far, but there’s a stirring checklist of autograph and memorabilia cards, a crisp, clean, player-centric design and one of the coolest wrappers we’ve ever done that make this product pretty epic, too.

Every six-pack box of 2012-13 Crusade Basketball will include six Crusade inserts, three autograph cards, three memorabilia cards and six additional inserts. It is those last three — the autographs, the memorabilia and the inserts — that we focus on in the following Quality Control Gallery.

I wished that in addition to technology and style of cards, Panini would focus more on content and content uniqueness. I don't know if I'm the only one but a big part of why I collect is to check out the stats and who did what during the season. A lot of insert sets seem repetitive, even though graphically they are different from each other. I realized this when I saw that there is another set coming up and I didnt see anything new in the content except for maybe new nicknames for star players.
