    2013 UFC Box Worth?

I am new to collecting UFC as I just purchased my first card (Meisha Tate relic/auto) off of eBay. I have been debating for some time now if it would be worth it to me to just bite the bullet and buy a box of 2013 UFC. Have any of you guys have descent luck? My worst fear is dropping $150 on a box and ending up with 8 cards valued at $5 or so. Then again, you have to take risks in life...

Anytime you buy a box that's how it goes. If you are looking for specific cards buying the singles is the way to go.

Thanks. My gf and I love watching UFC and she enjoys watching the women fighters more than the men. She doesn't like "baseball cards" if you catch my drift but i am just trying to start a small collection for her. Thanks.

P.S. I made my first UFC buying mistake...I overpaid for a Meisha Tate relic/auto :/

Yeah Static look on the bright side at least your G/F isn't chasing GSP cards (like my wife) that gets expensive. I let my wife break all my UFC product and she really enjoys the thrill of pulling any of the fighters she knows. FYI doing a local group break of 2013 KO tonight (and guess whos opening it lol). Hopefully we'll have some nice stuff to show you guys. If your looking to get started Collecting MMA feel free to message me i have a stack of autos and relics im trying to move in the next week or so.

No joke. Buy a box of knockouts. Even better, have your GF open it. She'll be hooked. The Knockout product is by far the best UFC product so far. I've bought 3 boxes so far and at least got back equal value in cards. The women are loaded in this product and this could be the best chance to hit a Rousey. And don't feel bad about overpaying for Tate. Her value is low right now and because of TUF her prices will rebound.
