    It gets very old.

As for "rock throwing"; that was by far my biggest fault as a child. To this day, I cannot resist throwing rocks. According to my mother and brother, I almost killed him numerous times. I learnt early that he may be older and faster, but he can't outrun a well thrown rock. lol

Edit: For crab apples; we would use tree branches to pierce the apples and fling them at each other. The added leverage enabled you to "throw" the apples a lot farther than anyone could throw.

There is a fine line between Discussion, Banter, Debate, Arguing, Conjecture, Disdain, and then Brawling.

I think we all do a pretty good job on here, and you at least allow us some leeway. Other forums don't even get rolling because certain Mods are either on power-trips, or love blowing their whistle for no apparent reason.

We should have a set of adjectives that can be seen in decent arguments, that aren't offensive, but still maintain their effectiveness. I like these:

    Poop-Head
    Half-Wit
    Numb-Skull
    Richard Noggin
    Nonce
    Bell-End
    Mong

    Effective, yet not crass.

    Don't forget two bit twit.

I stopped seeing "poop" as a viable insult in grade 3

I like "Ding-Dong" as well...a tasty snack treat AND effective insult/descriptor

As far as this small area fo discussion on this board, it is VERY tame compared to most of the otehr forums I have seen. The biggest difference here is that most ofthe commentary is pretty mature, or at least tries to be rooted in facts first. I have never been part of a post or discussion that I thought was offensive by typical interweb standards on this site, so I say don't change what you do as a mod, and we should all try to remain civil. There is not one person in this thread that I would not sit in a room and trade cards with, or go to see a game with, despite our political/religious differences.

I will definitely be using Ding-dong as a descriptor, but no offense is intended!
