They do have to be hobby packs, so the blaster idea may be out.
I know that a lot of Canadians helped out their American counterparts last year - many shops had no issue what the source of the wrappers was, so long as people kept coming through the doors.
Remember too that only those Certified Diamond Dealers had access to the program, and if they were to be found to be jerking around customers and letters were sent to UD informing them of the practice, I don't think that would bode well for their relationship with UD.Habs fan and collector! One thing you don't want to do is piss off UD. Lose your CDD and you may as well close up shop so I don't think too many guys will screw around with the program.
We're planning on doing quite a few case breaks and in store pack war tournaments with OPC so we should get quite a few of the limited edition packs. We'll send some down to you guys in the States as long as Upper Deck doesn't have a rule against a CDD doing that. Upper Deck has so many rules!

Last year they were issued in a clear wrapper so the All Star card and the first card were visible which made them easy to search at least 50% of the packs. There was long delay in getting them at least for me ( I totally forgot about them got 10 pack at the beginning of this year I think )

I spoke to someone at Upper Deck and they said this year the packs will not be clear.
