Blazers turn down Cavs' offer of #1, #19 for Aldridge

According to Chad Ford and Mark Stein of ESPN, the Portland Trail Blazers have declined an offer from the Cleveland Cavaliers of the #1 overall pick, and the #19 overall pick in the 2013 NBA Draft for All Star PF LaMarcus Aldridge.

I hope the Blazers didn't turn it down as quickly as ESPN makes it sound. Although as a Blazer fan I hope they wouldn't accept just the #1 and #19 for Aldridge (in a weak draft, I'd trade LMA for a top 5 pick next year no problem), it has the foundation of a good trade for both teams if a few more pieces are added on both sides.

Portland is at a stage where we really need to rebuild around Lillard and other young prospects we can acquire, and the Cavs I feel (correct me if I'm wrong Cavs fans) have a superstar in Kyrie and several good role players in Varejao and Waiters and others, could really use a second option next to Kyrie, which LaMarcus would fit well.
