$6-million/yr for a guy that can no longer skate, who's hands are no longer "soft" and who was pretty much exposed as being "finished" in the playoffs. Yup, great signing there.
People across North America got to see what people in Calgary have known for the past two-years, Iginla is pretty much done.

Reports of Iggy's demise are greatly exaggerated, still has the hands, score 11 pts in 13 reg season games and 12 pts in 15 games in the play-offs for the Pen's, by far one of the few Pen's who showed up, but now he is on a much better team, will replace horty and his "soft" head very well, and for only ONE year, that is the key number. jmho.
