Question on 2010-11 UD French Buybacks

Need some help on the 2010-11 Upper Deck French 90-91 Buybacks. The database shows the checklist for cards 1-550. The original 1990-91 Upper Deck French set was released in two series. Series 1 consisted of cards 1-400 and series 2 consisted of cards 401-550.

In the 2010-11 UD French Buybacks were the series 2 cards actually included? I have been looking and have not been able to find any evidence of cards #401-550. I have looked on auction sites and comc and have only seen buyback cards from the first series (cards 1-400).

    Thanks for any help

    I think you are correct.

If I remember correctly, they intended to release a Series 2 in French, where the Series 2 buybacks would have been inluded. The First Series didn't sell very well, so they dropped it. I don't believe the 401+ cards were ever made.

Thanks for the reply. Nice to know that I am not going crazy looking for cards that were most likely never released.
