I dont know maybe im different from you guys but i love the feeling of buying a box of cards and seeing what i get i think buying individual cards takes the fun out of it abit because you know what you are getting :)!!! Also i do agree the topps cards are ugly. So if you have any other suggestions then feel free to share. Thanks

Either start out with buying cards on ebay or search the pages for cards you want. I know I would sell all my GU cards except the few I have in my PC. Remember to stay focused don't try for too much at first. Regardless, good luck.

If you can get a box from 2004 cheap, I would go with something like Leaf Rookies and Stars or Ultimate. Neither are cheap. Cheap look for Tradition or Topps.

i like these boxes as follows:
5.)bowman chrome (i have coollected the set since its debut)
4.)topps chrome (just another personal slection)
    3.)sweet spot
2.)sp authentic (for the patch auto rookies
1.)finest (the most economical box for the autos i like anyways)
I think finest is good for beginners. it offers lots of parrellels in each box as well as autos.
