OOPS!!! lol obviously they were in a rush to be first 13/14 product, got be impressed with ol Bobby Hull's sig though,
has some pride in his auto obviously as some players do, D.Hamilton's puck sig is ridiculous, can't even see the logo!!
The guys who sign around the logo must have a old school respect for the logo.
Does anyone know what the globe logo on Lafleurs puck sig/13 is from?Bucket: Hidden Content

Yes, it was the logo used during the 1924-25 season:

The Canadiens decide to proudly display their "World Championship", following their second Stanley Cup triumph, replacing the "CH" by a globe in the middle of their jersey. The official logo with the white "C" could still be found on each sleeve.
Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

I do what I can. It's interesting that they chose *that* particular retro logo considering that none of the players signing on it were even close to being alive at the time. I would have gone with this design, including the logo strip, myself:

In February 1945, the wide strip is moved from the shoulders to the chest area, and changes from red to blue. This change will last until November 1946. On most nights, the Canadiens wore the red model for their home games, but this special white jersey was worn nonetheless for some games at the Forum.

While on the topic, one thing that I myself have noticed, is that Alex Galchenyuk has different ways he signs.
eBay photo, example of one of his nice autos:

Then you get to these ones, without the number. Which look worse

Just my little thoughts :P

I wonder how long it takes to sign your name 1,147 times!? And this is just one product. I think I could do 50 before it would start to deteriorate into a scribbly mess....

That what i heard from a few players, they said when they started they use to have full name autos, but bybthe time they started signing cards they dropped their signature to half,or used initials! i talk to Canucks guys sometimes and i asked that question,to name a few that told me that: Max Lapierre,Daniel Sedin,Roberto Luongo and the new guy Zack Kassian with his ZK initial!! U can type zacks auto, see "ZK" lol
I kinda underestand, imagine signing atleast 500+ for 14-15 different products every year! Hell i get sick when i sign my name like 7-8 times when i renew insurance, let alone thousand times!

Well dont forget they do get paid for the cards they sign so its no excuse really being sloppy and all, if you that bored signining you shouldnt do it at all, respect to all old school players, all new should learn from them how to do it. But its crazy how the quality on those pucks are, seems too much ask to use a decent pen theese days :(

this one is just awful

Hello auto where are you hiding

Better pen but still hard to see the actual auto..

Respect to Hull, he did best job i think so far.. if only all looked like this ?Last edited by mortuus; 07-22-2013 at 04:58 AM.
