Would have loved him in Edmonton. If it's a one year deal.... I can almost certainly say I'd have been happy with the Oilers outbidding the devils, but if this is what Jagr wanted to do - good for him.

I suspect you'll see a trade come deadline time anyway, and he'll be moved to a contender (I don't expect the Devils to be in it) so one more run at the Cup will still be there for him.

Just seems weird! Jagr in a Devil's uni, wish he could have stayed with the flyer's, he played well with Giroux. Surprised the Habs didn't want him, he is so good at puck control on the right wing, set up Subban on the left point on the power play etc....

He's going to play for all 30 teams soon. I just hope he stays away from my Maple Leafs. I wouldn't want to see him on our team. Signing with the Flyers after being a Penguin for most of your career just shows what kind of a person he is. Booh! There are some quite colourful stories about him in Beckett Hockey as well, which have all lead me to dislike him.

    Ever hear of Joe Micheletti?
    Islanders, to Rangers.
    Now, THATS just wrong. lol

Anyway, with the loss of Kovalchuk, I wouldn't mind Jagr if I were a Devs fan.

He's used the Habs as a bargaining chip to drive up the price for the other teams every year since he's returned now.
