Jets Re-Sign Brian Little to 5-Year Deal
$23.5M over five years = $4.7M per season.
Good signing for the Jets, as he's one of the team's core pieces.
Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

Yes, it is a lot for Bryan Little.
But I want to touch on something you pointed out about Little. I wish people would get past the size of a player. It means absolutely NOTHING.
I've heard it WAY to many times: 'So-and-so is too small for professional hockey'. Complete bull.
These are some of the most recent 'small' players who have been productive to this point in, or during, their careers:
Steve Sullivan (5'8)
Saku Koivu (5'10)
Ray Whitney (5'10)
Brian Rafalski (5'10)
Nathan Gerbe (5'5)
Cory Conacher (5'8)
Patrick Kane (5'10)
Mark Recchi (5'10)
Marc Savard (5'10)
Michael Cammalleri (5'9)
Daniel Briere (5'10)
Derek Roy (5'9)
Brian Gionta (5'7)
Martin St. Louis (5'8)
Sergei Samsonov (5'8)
Francis Bouillon (5'8)
Even the most dominant female player, Hayley Wickenheiser, is only 5'10. Get over the size issue people.

Chillax!! I realize HOCKEY IQ comes in all sizes, but if a *LOWER IQ player as Little also brings a "small game" to the table, than his value is not so good compared to one of my favorite player, St. Louis, or Sakic etc....
