Florida Panthers $7/Game Season Ticket Promotion
Just wow.

With 41 home games, that works out to a grand total of $287.
The jerseys are $140.00 retail.
A sampling of the acts coming to the Panthers' arena this coming season: Stone Temple Pilots, Nine Inch Nails, Michael Buble, and more.
They are essentially paying people to come to the hockey games.
It will possibly cost me more to see a single tilt, the Canucks & Habs on October 12th, than it will for people to go to 41 Florida Panthers games and 4 concerts.
Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

Good for the Panthers. They are at least making a conscious effort, and always have. Unlike the bell-ends in Atlanta, who just thumbed their noses down, even when given a 2nd opportunity. Perhaps that is why Atlanta is such an abject failure at Sport, no matter the Sport. Teams often model the community that either supports, or does not support them.
I will 100% support any organization that tries to stay afloat, and give their fans value while doing it.
Good for the Panthers. When I visit my Brother-In-Law in Weston, I will make especially sure as I always have, to attend a Panthers game and give them what little support I am able to while there.

.......and Bettman is still in charge because WHY????? Not to mention the complicity of the NHLPA who want to keep their players employed........
All on the backs of Canucks and Habs and Leafs and the rest of the "haves" fans...................

Ed:
You'd think that Bettman would get a little tired of constantly wiping the egg off of his face. His approach to gassing the Jets the first time around, was similar to his approach to gassing BAP/ITGU ......

Yeah BUT....... the Panthers are giving away their product, losing millions every year and it doesn't matter one bit to them because Bettman hands them a cheque too cover it written by the owners of the money-making teams year after year after year. And those owners just pass along the cost of those cheques to whoever is fortunate or stupid enough to be able to pay $80 to sit in the nose-bleeds. Or spend $189-$239 on a jersey that the have-nots are giving away...............

dang, Ive been thinking of moving from where i am now (Near Daytona) to Tampa so i can catch a ton of games cheap but maybe i should head down to Miami! HAHA Although there team is horrible and outside of like Markstrom and Huberdeau (a few others i like) i have no interest in the team. Think ill spend the extra $$ to watch Stammer, Drouin, marty etc.. play

The rink is nowhere near Miami. It's out on the edge of the Everglades in Weston, Florida, almost a 1/3rd of the way to Tampa. Lol
If you lived in Weston, you could walk to the Panther games and take a short 2-3 hour drive to the Bolts games. If you lived in Miami, you'd have to add another hour, plus to your drive. Besides, nobody lives in Miami unless you Cuban or Haitian, or are on South Beach itself..

The Panthers play in Sunrise, FL which is about 30 minutes from Miami and 3 and a half hours from Tampa...

I kinda wished I lived down in Southern Florida lol. I think it would be cool to be able to go to Panthers games for cheap. Plus the other add ins are nice (parking, jersey, and 4 free concerts)

What I paid for 2 NIN tickets at Rogers Arena would have got me that plus 3 more shows plus 41 hockey games plus a jersey. Could be worse I guess, I could live in.........Regina or somewhere with just barn dances to look forward to, right??
